Design Concept:

This crystal glass figurine, titled “The First Call,” is the whimsical artwork of the rooster (or chicken) zodiac in Chinese mythology. Despite its seemingly simple character, the rooster is most admired for its punctuality and independent minded temperament. Tracing its roots to the traditional agrarian lifestyle, the rooster represents a simple yet sturdy and respectable way of life that is at once dependable and capable. Adorably comedic and almost cartoonish, the zodiac art piece is adorned with traditional Chinese paper-cutting artwork patterns. Each art piece is uniquely handcrafted, varying most with color and playing with light on any tabletop. Well suited for birthday occasions or simply celebrating someone’s birth year.

設計概念說明：

雄雞一唱天下白，大地迎來了曙光，田野有了第一個聲響，大地蘇醒。雞冠被刻意放大，有頭戴桂冠，鼎鼎大名之意。“鳴”與“名”同音，叫我第一鳴，也是叫我“第一名”。
“雞”與“吉”同音，在中國人眼中，雞是吉祥的動物，更有“金雞報喜”的說法。
