Under the core value of "creating art that is good of the heart," the ESG initiative was officially launched in 2022 at LIULI. The Founder/Artist Loretta H. Yang set out to challenge the traditional "pate de verre" she had revitalized 37 years ago, experimenting with changes to the crafting process in search of innovative formulas for more vibrant colors. She also explored the potential for upcycling the residual casting materials from previous glass art creations. Collaborating with the long-established Yong Jin Wood Crafts, with over 70 years of history, Yang embarked on a cross-disciplinary partnership. Yang seamlessly integrates art into daily life with the "LIULI Coffee Table," a piece that embodies sustainability, circular economy, and ESG principles. Woodwork Master Craftsman

Jiang Shi-Zhen

Founded in the late 1950s in Taiwan, Yung Chin Woodworks initially specialized in dowry items like five-drawer chests and vanity tables. Evolving from wooden furniture exports, it built a solid industrial foundation. Now led by third-generation General Manager Jiang Shi-Zhen, the company has transformed by moving beyond contract manufacturing and creating its own furniture line. Their Taiwan-made products blend modern design with local cultural elements, offering a diverse range.
